| The birth of Capricon went pretty smoothly with over 300 encouraging
witnesses who refused to let a less than friendly hotel overshadow the blessed
event. Moebius Theatre performed twice with a review on Friday and Chuck
Ott's play, Spark, on Saturday. From day one Japanimation was a solid part
of the film program where "Castle Cagliostro" consistently packed 'em in.
One special memory: Harrison Ford "appeared" incognito and purchased art from
the auction -- when the signature was seen on the check, it almost didn't get
cashed. An auspicious if unknowing godfather for the new babe. |
