| Another year at the beautiful Wyndham. Late night programming was new,
and there was the memorable inspired-by-the-place Masquerade Grand Walk around
the second level and down the grand stairway. Very cool. A fond
memory: sitting up late in the lobby with Nancy Kress & friends singing TV
themes (I knew all the words to Maverick). This year's beautifully
decorated dance was the Beggars Ball. Outstanding memory: the surprise
appearance at a very crowded and last minute Q&A session with folk from Babylon
5: Claudia Christian (Capt. Susan Ivanova), Mira Furlan (Delenn), and the big
man himself, J. Michael Straczynski (creator & exec. producer). |
