| Though this hotel was, in many places, not accessible, it was memorable for
its eye-popping architectural decor with a distinct Egyptian flavor. A few
stand-out memories: skinny-dipping fans in the hotel pool; costumed fans
strolling down Michigan Avenue; elevators that took you where they wanted to go;
and the unknown (no one thought to look at the badge if any) fan who strolled
through the hotel lobby dressed only in clear plastic wrap. |
