stepped up and solved the somewhat embarrassing problem of no badges (caused by,
you won't believe this, a screw-up by a concom member!) by signing a zillion
blank badges which served until the real ones arrived. And there you have
perfect examples of concom members sinking into infamy and rising to the
occasion. Yes, folks, we are, ongoing debates notwithstanding, pretty much
