| A genteel con in which the pro GoH was a charming poet-professor and the fan
GoH declined the con's per diem. Moebius Theatre performed Uninvited
Guests by Martha Soukup. This year Capricon included a Masquerade Dance which
was a great hit once the fog machine was turned off. A word here about the
pool in this hotel. It is up on the 12th floor or somewhere and looks like
something out of an Agatha Christie novel: high ceilings; huge potted palms all
over the place; tiled pillars; dimly lit; gracious stairways. You'd almost
expect to see a body floating face down in the water ... but, of course you are
marginally grateful to find only naked, live fen. |
